Shiny, Warm, and Fluttery
Saga
prepares for school and tells Sugar that
she'll be out shopping with Ann and Norma
after school. Sugar says she wants to
come too but Saga tells her she can't
and leaves while Sugar throws a fit. As
Sugar flies out of the room to follow
Saga, Salt and Pepper stop her and tell
her that they should start finding the
Kirameki. Sugar agrees and follows them
both to start searching for the Kirameki.
As
the three of them look around town square
for a clue where the Kirameki is, Sugar
tells them the Kirameki is probably something
sparkly. Salt tells her that the Kirameki
is something warm. Pepper says the Kirameki
is probably something that's fluttery.
As they argue, Pepper states that whatever
the Kirameki is, it's most likely important
to humans, so they should search somewhere
that there's a lot of people.
Sugar
finds a shiny dress being sold in a shop
and flies over to it and hugs it, saying
it's the Kirameki. But the dress ends
up falling off the hanger and the shop
person picks it back up. Pepper finds
a little boy with cotton candy and claims
its the Kirameki. Salt finds a lamp and
claims it's the Kirameki because it's
warm.
They
all sigh at their mistakes and they notice
a book cover in front of the bookshop.
The book is the tale about the arguement
about the Sun and Wind. Salt gets frustrated
because he thought he would get away from
such stories once he came to the human
world. Pepper adds in that in the story,
the wind fairy wasn't trying to blow off
the man's coat, but trying to get the
man to clutch his coat tighter because
he had a present inside his coat pocket.
As
Saga and her friends walk through town,
they meet up with Phil and his friends.
He asks them if they want to join their
hunt in the junkyard for parts for his
Rainfall EX machine. Saga politely declines
and Phil and his friends walk off to the
junkyard.
In
the sky above, Sugar, Salt, and Pepper
still have no clue on what the Kirameki
is. A grown up fairy flies past them and
they get excited as they introduce themselves
to her and ask her if she knows what the
Kirameki is. The fairy smiles and tells
them it's part of their training so she
can't tell. She introduces herself as
Ginger and flies away to make rain.
Sugar,
Salt, and Pepper find themselves hungry
and fly to the waffle shop. As Salt and
Pepper stare at the waffles, they wonder
if it's the Kirameki. Sugar corrects them
and tells them it's a "Wa-Ho".
Saga and her friends then walk up to the
waffle shop to get some waffles. Saga
notices Sugar, Salt, and Pepper as they
ask her for a waffle too. Saga orders
two plain waffles and Norma and Ann wonder
if Saga has a big appetite.
While
they sit at the fountain eating waffles,
Norma and Ann talk about a skirt that
they want to buy. Sugar asks Saga if she
has any more waffle and Saga tells her
that's all she's getting. Sugar, Salt,
and Pepper look up and notice that the
waffle shop worker was throwing out pieces
of waffle for the pidgeons. The three
of them rush over to collect waffle pieces
to eat. Saga watches them and then walks
off with Ann and Norma, knowing that Sugar
will be all right.
As
Sugar bites into her waffle piece, she
notices something shining on a rooftop
and flies over. Inside a little opening
on the roof, she finds a nest and a shiny
bell resting on it. Sugar exclaims its
the Kirameki and goes inside to grab it.
Suddenly a black crow swoops down into
the nest and begins to peck at Sugar,
trying to get the bell back. Salt and
Pepper yell at Sugar to get out as they
watch from outside. Sugar sneaks out of
the nest through a hidden way and tries
to sneak away with the bell but the bell
makes a small noise and the crow notices.
Sugar flies away with the bell in her
hands as the crow chases after her. Salt
and Pepper chase after them from behind.
As
Norma shows Ann the skirt that she should
buy, Saga looks up and notices the crow
cawing. She shrugs it off and helps her
friends with deciding on which skirt to
buy.
Sugar
ends up flying to the junkyard and into
an old birdcage, trying to get away from
the crow. The crow goes after her but
as it beats its wings, it causes the birdcage
to roll and tumble down. Salt and Pepper
find Sugar trapped inside the birdcage
with the unconsious crow. Salt and Pepper
can't open the birdcage by themselves
and notices Phil and his friends collecting
junk nearby.
Salt
and Pepper try to get their attention
to help Sugar out of the cage but it's
no use, since they all can't see them.
After a while of trying to get their attention
with their season instruments, they realize
Saga's the only one that can see them
and they rush off to find her.
Saga
arrives at the junk yard with Salt and
Pepper. Phil notices her and asks her
if she came to help them out after all.
Saga says she was there to get something
else really quick and rushes off to find
Sugar trapped inside the birdcage. Saga
opens the cage and Sugar flies out, happy
that Saga rescued her. Sugar shows her
bell to Saga, claiming it's the Kirameki.
Phil
walks over and takes the bell (without
noticing Sugar, Salt, and Pepper of course)
and wonders why Saga had an old bell with
her. The crow suddenly flies up and snatches
the bell away from Phil. He yells at the
crow and tells Saga that the crow's name
is Joe and it's famous for snatching up
and collecting shiny things. Sugar realizes
that it wasn't the Kirameki, but the bell
after all.
In
the bathtub with Saga, Sugar, Salt, and
Pepper play in the bubbles and realize
it's shiny, warm, and fluttery and begin
thinking it's Kirameki. Saga gets annoyed
and tells them to knock it off and they
should shampoo their hair. Sugar, Salt,
and Pepper refuse to and try to prevent
Sage from washing them.
