A Tiny Roommate
Saga
still can't believe that season fairies
exist. Sugar flies around the room explaining
to Saga that all seasons/weather is done
by fairies. Saga suddenly remembers she
has to go to school and begins brushing
her hair. Sugar is excited that they have
school in the human world like they do
in the fairy world and says she'll come
along. Saga is irritated to hear this
and runs out of the house after she traps
Sugar into a little cage of her books.
Sugar
escapes and chases after Saga. Catching
up to her, she suddenly falls, saying
she's hungry. Saga gets worried and goes
to the waffle shop to buy Sugar a waffle.
As Sugar eats the waffle, she asks what
she's eating. Saga informs her its a waffle
and Sugar calls it a "wa-ho"
At
school, the teacher calls roll and notices
that Saga isn't at school. The whole class
wonders what's up because Saga is usually
prompt and on time. Saga bursts into the
room with Sugar on her head (of course,
nobody can see her). The teacher asks
Saga why she's late and Saga gets angry
and aims to hit Sugar on the head but
ends up hitting herself on her head. Greta
stands up and declares that the whole
world doesn't revolve around Saga and
they shouldn't concern themselves with
Saga any longer. The teacher and class
mistakes Greta's irritation as concern
and so the teacher excuses Saga for the
sake of Greta and Saga's friendship.
As
Saga sits down, Sugar tells her that she'll
be learning too and she won't get in the
way. But Sugar ends up falling asleep
on Saga's open notebook on her desk. At
lunch, Norma and Ann ask Saga why she
was late to class. Saga blushes and asks
if either of them heard of Season Fairies
and describes Sugar to them. Norma begins
to think Saga has a fever and feels her
forehead.
Greta
walks up and tells Saga off for ignoring
her the day before when she had her watch.
Greta shows off her new ring that her
father had imported from another country.
Sugar sees the ring and suddenly yells
"KIRAMEKI!" and snatches the
ring off Greta's finger. Sugar then accidentally
crashes to the ceiling and falls. Greta
catches the ring but Saga pushes Greta
over to catch Sugar. Angry, Greta asks
Saga why she pushed her over. The teacher
walks by the room and notices the ring
on Greta's finger and drags her away for
abusing school rules and bringing such
a piece of jewelry to class.
At
science class, Saga begins her experiment
as Sugar explains to her that "Kirameki"
is what appretence season fairies need
to become full-fledged fairies. As Saga
begins one of her experiments by turning
a drop of salt water into salt, Sugar
notices it being sparkly and asks if it's
Kirameki. Saga tells her that it's salt
and Sugar mistakingly licks it and panics
because of the strong taste.
As
Saga holds Sugar over the water faucet,
Phil introduces his new "Rainfall
EX" machine to the class. He claims
it makes rain and does a demonstration.
Sugar gets excited and says she'll help
and pulls out her flute to make snow.
Saga doesn't stop her in time and Sugar's
"help" causes the Rainfall EX
machine to blow up. Angry, Saga grabs
Sugar and yells at her for ruining her
day in front of the class.
After
school, the teacher talks to Saga and
asks if there was any problems because
of the sudden outburst. Saga knows that
the teacher is concerned about her but
knows she can't tell her about the season
fairies that nobody else can see or else
she'd think Saga's crazy.
On
the roof of the school, Sugar begins to
feel bad for making Saga so angry at her.
She spots Saga walking out of the school
and chases after her to apologize. Saga
hastily walks towards her house, ignoring
Sugar. Sugar follows her and begins to
wonder if Saga can't see her anymore.
Saga arruptly stops and tells Sugar that
it was time for them to part and pretend
they never saw eachother. Sugar gets sad
and asks why. As Saga explains that she
doesn't want to involve herself with season
fairies, two fairies rush in front of
her towards Sugar.
Sugar
gets excited and kisses them both, with
Saga dazed and confused. Sugar introduces
her two friends as Salt and Pepper, both
appretence fairies like her. Salt and
Pepper ask Sugar if she planted her magic
seed yet. Sugar says she hasn't yet and
so the three of them rush off so Salt
can show Sugar where he planted his. Saga
just watches them fly away.
While
Saga sits in her bathroom, she begins
to feel bad about telling Sugar off so
harshly. Saga goes to her room and finds
it in shambles. Sugar was tearing the
room apart, looking for the magic seed
she lost. She explains to Saga that she
needs to magic seed so she can plant it
where she decides to live in the human
world. Saga finds a sprout growing from
her mini-piano and asks Sugar if that's
it. Sugar gets happy that her magic seed
has sprouted and announces that she'll
be living with Saga from now on.
Saga
gets frustrated and asks Sugar why and
Sugar tells Saga not to worry because
she'll find the Kirameki soon and become
a full-fledged fairy. During her explaination,
Sugar gets sleepy and falls mid-air. Saga
catches her and sighs as she makes a bed
for Sugar in her jewelry box.
