08/05/2008 "Quick Catch Up" Okay! Quick catch up since I didn't blog for a while there~ Thursday - We bought the carpet and installation services at Home Depot. Even though we got estimates from other places, Home Depot was the most upfront about their prices. We also got 10% off the services because I got the credit card. One word of advice peoples: Carpet salesmen are the PUSHIEST sons of bitches ever. The main reason why I went with Home Depot was because the people there had the no pressure approach. But if you like that pushy type, hey go with whomever. Friday - We bought a Washer/Dryer for the house. We got a pretty good deal for them both~ decided to pick it up at the warehouse rather than pay the delivery charges. Saturday - I went to Grand Junction, CO with Scott's parents to go see a wedding of their goddaughter. FIVE HOUR DRIVE. For non-coloradans, Grand Junction is near the Utah Border. Ugh. I was too carsick to really appreciate the wedding of two extremely wealthy people. We didn't even stop by Aspen or Vail!! =( Sunday - Scott and I picked up our Washer/Dryer at the airport in his mom's van. SO HEAVY. Later that night we went to Comedy Works with a bunch of friends (Allison got free tickets!) to see the "Chicks of Comedy". The guys really thought it would be a night of lesbian comedians but it was actually hilarious! Monday - Kathy called me and says she thinks her husband is cheating on her. Dun dun DUUUNNNNNN. Pretty legit reasons to think it too. Anybody know a good (free) computer monitoring program? And people wonder why I"m exhausted all the time.
