"A Dumptruck's worth"

When we got back from Vegas Scott and I browsed through the house we took possession of. The sellers had SO much crap everywhere that we were excited to look at the house without the crap everywhere. To our surprise, the sellers LEFT a lot of crap behind.

Cheap walmart bookshelves and cabinets were nailed to the walls and painted over (which pissed us off completely, they told us they were taking everything with them). They left a big HEAVYASS desk in the basement along with several display cases and broken table legs. The worst part was they basically left EVERYTHING in the attic. It was jam packed full of their crap!

Now if you're anything like Roman who thinks that "You totally could've ebayed all that!". No seriously, it was CRAP. The most valuable thing in there was an old silverware set and an old record collection (of country singers). The rest was tacky holiday stuff and important tax and bank documents they've accumulated over the years.

So we call our realtor and she gets us in touch with the seller. This old lady is such a BITCH. She's like "well some of that stuff was in there when we moved in". SO?? Its under the terms of contract moron. You don't leave shit behind even if you claim it isn't your shit. It was your shit when you bought it 25 years ago and you didn't say anything about it!

So the lady agrees to pay for haulers to take the stuff out of the attic. They charged her over $1000 to clean it up...and trust me I don't think it was enough. It took them FOUR hours to clear the shit in the attic...and the poor guy who was in the attic throwing it down, I felt so bad for him because it was 120 degrees up there. There was so much crap to the point it broke the attic ladder towards the middle and the lady immediately says "That's not our fault!!!". Bitch.

Anyway, it's all cleaned and the attic is clear and it's HUGE. Now what's left on our priority list is to unscrew all the cheapass shelves and cabinets they put in random places, paint, and then new carpet.

Wish us luck!
