07/13/2008 "Emptying the Camera!" Hi all! Thanks for waiting. Like I said stress sucks. Let's just say...we closed on the house a week later it was supposed to because Wells Fargo underwriters don't care about deadlines. A whole bunch of people turned in their resignation at the Credit Union (but I don't care cuz I'm still on vacation, muhaha). We need to do some work on the townhome we bought but nothing that won't break the bank at the moment. And I came back from Vegas safe and sound! Las Vegas is quite awesome! I haven't been there since I was twelve when I stayed at Circus Circus with the family. Lets just say when you're 21, that place is a BLAST. I'm a little sad I had to leave but at the same time was super relieved when I hit the bed when I got home. We stayed at the Imperial Palace (Super cheap hotel in the middle of the strip across from Caesar's Palace). Although I must say going to Vegas in the middle of summer is NOT a good idea. We were dying from heat exhaustion during the day (we got smart after the first day to leave the hotel room after it gets dark). I definitely want to go back to Vegas soon! It was so fun! I was super disappointed that Avenue Q wasn't playing in Vegas anymore (replaced by Mamma Mia, ugh) but Scott and I shelled out 80 dollars to see one of the Cirque De Soliel shows. We went to see Zumanity in New York New York...and let me say it was frickin AWESOME. It was a sexuality themed Cirque and let me just say one thing that will make the show worth if for you...FLEXIBLE MIDGET. Holy crap I wish they let us take pictures. The show was amazing and hilarious at some points. It was worth it! So here's me emptying some pictures from my digital camera. Obviously these are not all the pictures I took since not all are appropriate. Also I couldn't take as many as I wanted because they would not allow us to take pictures of inside the casino floors and the show. Phooey. On the plane to Vegas...Allison caught this while I was reading I caught this as we were landing...XD The view in front of our hotel (the Imperial Palace), that would be Caesar's Palace...in all of it's 115 degree glory. You can't see from the picture but the streets were doing that weird wavy heat thing. Allison is awesome~! One of the many nudie statues in front of Caesars Palace. We waited to watch three of them. I was going to shoot video of it but I'm pretty positive there's tens of thousands of those on Youtube at the moment. They had a creepy tree on display and Allison took a picture of it staring at us...the eyes follow you, so scaaaaary. Priceless. He wishes! XD Simon Cowell is quite creepy. One of the best pictures taken in that place. XD West Side! Too bad he couldn't do that upside down kiss. that would've been awesome! Scott says this is the best picture taken so far there (for those who don't recognize, thats JFK and Jackie O) We have a picture of us all flicking off George Bush but Allison has that picture and promised to send it later. I promise to post it when I get it. I'm so glad there were no black people present at the time. I loooooooove Master Chief...*love shudder* Here's some more pictures I promised to post on my blog several months ago but never did XD. Better late than neve right? New Years Eve on 16th street mall in Downtown Denver. Hooray for Below Zero Temperatures! Me and Scott on New Years Eve. SO COLD. New Years kiss with Brandon...still funny! New Years Eve with Ronald McDonald! How awesome is that?? We tried to take a picture in front of the really pretty tree in Scott's work building but the camera kept blurring. Bah. The one nice picture where I'm not squinting! Too bad Scott looks funny hehe. This was at Red Rocks at Scott's sister's wedding. I have vacation until Wednesday. I will SAVOR every moment!
