O R G A N I Z A T I O N

The Akatsuki organization is cloaked in mystery but it a force that is feared by many of the village leaders. Jiraiya reveals that he was able to discover them after following Orochimaru's patterns. The organization is headed by unknown six people and big orders are carried out by the nine hand-picked ninjas..amongst them being Itachi and Orochimaru. It is still unknown how many supporters they have under their control.

The organization carries out it's missions in groups of two...in Itachi's case, Kisame is his backup. For an unknown reason, they are seeking to release the nine-tails demon sealed up inside of Naruto. Itachi doesn't really seem to care so much about the organization's intentions about releasing the nine-tails demon as much as everyone else seems to be aiming to. Most likely the Akatsuki group wants to find a way to release the nine-tails demon so they can control him (after all, he's a demon that has the ultimate power to destroy).

The rest of Akatsuki is still not revealed, but members that have been discovered so far are Orochimaru, Kabuto, Kisame, and Itachi.
