Inside his apartment, Hideki studies his homework and throws it to the side in frustration, thinking he'll never get it. Suddenly, the door opens and he finds Yumi standing there in her Yorokonde uniform. She calls out to him and then tackles him to the floor. Hideki freaks out and asks her what was wrong and Yumi takes his hand and places it on her breast inside her shirt. As Hideki tries to back away (with his hand still stuck in her shirt) he bumps into Hibiya behind him, who seductively loosens her bra strap. He blushes and freaks out even more, then suddenly the closet door opens and Shimizu wearing her bra and panties slowly crawls out. Hideki looks around him and sees he's surrounded by the three of them all half naked. Yumi then grabs him from behind and whispers in his ear "take me" and Hideki tries to reach for her but ends up getting a nosebleed. On the floor trying to hold his nose from bleeding, he looks up and sees the rabbit from Chii's picture book staring down at him, asking him if he was the one for her.

Hideki's vision begins to blur and he ends up seeing Chii looking down at him, waking him from his dream. Concerned, Chii asks if he was all right and Hideki tells her it was just a bad dream. Chii asks what a bad dream is and Hideki realizes since she was a persocon, she wouldn't know. Hideki explains dreams weren't real and he was fine. Chii then points to his crotch and asks him if he was fine there as well and Hideki grabs at it, embarassed.

As Hideki puts his books in his bag preparing to leave for Yobikou, he begins to remember his dream and recalls how good it really was. He snaps back into reality and packs his books faster and looks in his wallet to see if he could buy food. Seeing it was completely empty, he begins to cry. Chii asks Hideki why he needed money and he explains he needs money to survive. Chii then immediately volunteers to get a job so she can earn money for Hideki and holds up a porn magazine with an ad for a job opening for S&M queens at a sex shop. Hideki immediately freaks out and yells at Chii no. Chii then gets sad and asks Hideki if she wasn't allowed to work. Hideki then feels guilty and concedes to let her get a job, but only if it was a good job. Chii enthusiastically smiles and nods. As Hideki leaves for Yobikou, he tells Chii that they'll talk more about it when he comes back home. When Hideki closes the door behind him, Chii repeats to herself that a good job is good and a bad job is bad and smiles at the thought that she'll make money to make Hideki happy. Chii then leaves the apartment by herself to find a job.

At work, Hideki thinks about Chii's request and envisions her doing several different jobs and sighs heavily that she wouldn't be able to do much at all. Yumi suddenly comes up behind him and asks him what he was talking to himself about again. Hideki just explains that he was under a lot of stress because of school and work. Yumi immediately gets sad and asks if he was going to leave Yorokonde. Hideki assures her that his job at Yorokonde was too important for him to quit and Yumi then smiles in relief (which sends Hideki in a blushing mode). Yumi then asks what he was so worried about and Hideki replies that he was concerned about Chii. Yumi then suddenly looks a little sad and says that of course he would be concerned for his persocon because it was also probably cute. Wondering what Yumi meant by that, Hideki's stomach suddenly growled and Yumi asked if he was hungry. Hideki laughs it off and says he had to cut down on his meals because he had to pay his bills. Hideki then gets embarassed at what he said and quickly changes the subject and runs away to open the tavern.

On a street, Chii looks around her, still searching for signs of a job. Suddenly a man taps her from behind and she turns to face him, He then realizes it's a persocon but looks her over and thinks she's a cute one. Chii tells the man that she was looking for a job and the man gets happy and says he was looking for somebody that wanted a good paying job. Chii asks the man if it was a good job and the man immediately said it was and leads Chii down to an alleyway.

Back at Yorokonde, Hideki busies himself washing dishes. The tavern's persocon walks over and asks him if she could take his clean dishes and he awkwardly says it was all right. As he watches the persocon work, he's amazed at how efficient they were and wondered if Chii would ever be like that. The door to the kitchen then opens and Yumi greets Hideki holding a bag of groceries. She asks him if he would join her for dinner because she bought some extra food and was eating dinner alone. Hideki blushes and imagines Yumi naked in nothing but an apron and holding out food for him to eat. Yumi interrupts his thoughts and realizes that since Hideki has a persocon, it probably already had his dinner waiting for him. Hideki tells her that Chii wasn't like that because she didn't know very much what to do yet. Yumi then smiles sadly and says that persocons were able to do anything better than she could. Hideki is speechless at what she just said and Yumi quickly brightens up and tells him that she'll be waiting for him in the office with his dinner after his shift. After she leaves, Hideki wonders why Yumi gets so sad whenever they talk about persocons and decides to watch what he says from then on.

At the Kokubunji mansion, Minoru has Yuzuki hooked up to his monitor and busily types in commands to alter her program. As he finishes up, his computer makes a small beep and Yuzuki asks what he was doing. Minoru tells her that he had a search going on for any information about Chii on the net and it looks like they found something. He then asks Yuzuki to switch modes and search the notice he got and she complies. As the result shows on his monitor, a peep show website appears on screen with Chii wearing a sheer lingerie outfit. Minoru wonders out loud what was going on.

Inside the peep show room, Chii looks up at the TV inside the room and the man comes out on it, telling her not to worry because she was the only one that could hear him. He tells her that they were being broadcast on the internet now and the more people that login means that her paycheck will go up. The man asks Chii who made such a cute persocon like herself and Chii said she didn't know. The man is confused at what she said and asked about the Hideki person that owns her and Chii replies that Hideki found her. The man states Hideki must be incredibly lucky and happy that he was able to find such a cute persocon and Chii repeats the mans words and is happy to know that Hideki was happy to find her.

Back at Minoru's home, Yuzuki confirms that the persocon in the peep show camera was indeed Chii. Minoru stares at the monitor and thinks that Hideki wouldn't be the type of person that would make Chii do such a thing. Minoru then asks Yuzuki to patch a call to Shinbo.

At a vending machine after going to the public bath, Shinbo drinks an ice coffee until Sumomo suddenly began to jump up and down from inside his bath bowl claiming it was an urgent mail from Minoru. Shinbo wonders what was so urgent and tells Sumomo to read it.

In the office at Yorokonde, Hideki sits on a chair and watches Yumi cook. Yumi happily states that since food always tastes good when there's another person around, she was happy that he was able to come for dinner. Hideki goes into a happy trance at Yumi's words and tells her whatever she makes he'll eat it enthusiastically. When Hideki walks next to her and asks if she needs any help she holds up a small dish and asks him to do a taste test on her soup. He happily says it was really good and compliments her. Yumi smiles and says they were just like newlyweds (which causes Hideki to blush again) but Yumi says if they were married, she'd be too young. Hideki immediately disagrees and tells her he likes the young wife series (he accidentally let out a title of porn series).

Below the stairs leading up to the office, an employee calls out to Hideki and tells him that he had a visitor and Shinbo charges from behind him and calls out to Hideki in a panicked voice. Both Hideki and Yumi wonder what was going on.

Outside in the alleyway, Shinbo asks Hideki if he allowed Chii to get a job and Hideki tells him he didn't. Shinbo then gets Sumomo to replay Minoru's voicemail and Minoru's voice comes out of Sumomo, informing them that Chii was currently at a peep show place called "Peep in Person, Kawaii Koneko-chan Nyan Nyan" (cute kitten Nyan Nyan). Hideki immediately begins to freak out and realizes that Chii went out to search for a job because she asked about it in the morning. Hideki then grabs Shinbo and asks where Chii was and Shinbo tells him to calm down because he put the address inside Sumomo and she was going to direct him towards the place. Sumomo jumps inside Hideki's shirt pocket and tells him the first turn to make. As Hideki runs out of the alleyway, Yumi opens the entrance door to the office and watches Hideki leave.

Back at the peep show, the man explains to Chii to slowly take off her clothes and make fanservice poses. He explains the holes all around her were ways customers could see her. Chii gets off her chair and pokes her finger in one of the holes and the man immediately yells at her to stop and get back to her seat.

Outside, Hideki runs quickly with Sumomo directing him.

Inside the peep show, Chii slips off her outer lingerie and is in her bra and panties. She has difficulties trying to take off her bra and the man tells her to stop that and take off her panties. Chii obliges and shows the cameras her panties while repeating it over and over. The man then orders Chii to put her fingers between her legs. When Chii is about to oblige to, a voice inside her head ordered her not to. The man watches Chii suddenly stop moving and tries to get her attention but got no reaction. The man sighs and decides to go inside the room and do it himself. Chii then begins to glow while the calm voice tells her that until she finds the person she loves, she couldn't let anybody deactivate her. Then another form of Chii wearing black lace is behind her and embraces her and fades away.

Outside, Hideki and Sumomo are close to the building and Hideki runs faster, hoping Chii was okay.

Back in the peep show, the man comes in and tells Chii if she knew how to do it or not. Chii tells him that she won't do it and the man wondered if it was some sort of special program Hideki installed. The man then lifts Chii's legs to show her how to pose and do it and when he tries to stick his finger between her legs, Chii becomes startled and the room is filled with a bright light.

As Hideki quickly climbs the stairs of the building, he runs up to the 7th floor where she was, calling out her name.
